Racing Team The Metz Performance Racing Team consists of Bryan Metz, Tammy Metz and Mike Rees.
Mike and I started building this car in December '08. We made several runs in
NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street trim, then decided to switch our efforts to the 10.5 class
instead. In doing so we outfitted our C&S Performance 515" engine with a
sheet metal intake by Sonny's Performance, Big Stuff III fuel injection
system and additional nitrous kit from Applied Nitrous Technology.
The change over went great, thanks to some help from Jeff D'Agostino at Fast
Times and Joe from Hyperactive. They were instrumental with getting the most from
the fuel injection.
We also decided to add a Liberty trans and clutch to the car, which Mike and I both
like already.
Some 2009 late season testing showed great promise. We only made 6 runs, but got
progressively better with each, our final run netting a 1.03 60', 4.47 1/8 mile
at 162.

TIM MILETTI
2009 MODIFIED SUPER STREET CHAMP

Tim ran 2 full schedules, competing in the Modified Super Street 10.5 class and
the True Street Nostalgia Pro Street class along with one NMCA race in Nostalgia
Pro Street.
Tim won the Super Street 10.5 championship and set the record, running career bests along
the way. 1.09 60' and 7.51 184 mph in NPS trim. He also managed to land second
in points in True Street NPS class, being the only car to compete on a 10.5"
tire. If all that wasn't enough, he won the "Best Engineer Award"
at the NMCA Super Bowl in Chicago.
We are currently updating Tim's car for the 2010 race season where he plans on
competing in the NMCA NPS class and True Street Racing NPS class.
